  • Worship Minister

    Position

    The worship minister plays a pivotal role in bearing the responsibility for shaping the spiritual formation of the congregation through worship and inviting the congregation into wholehearted worship.


    Pastoral aspects of this role include cultivating worshipers of God – people whose lives reflect God’s glory; providing pastoral care and oversight over members of the worship ministry; to equip these individuals through instruction, mentoring, and co-forming their calling to reach their potential.


    Technical aspects of this role include overseeing the production aspects of the church, such as sound engineering oversight/support; podcast recording, editing, and posting.



    Job Responsibilities & Duties

    • Oversee and lead congregation in corporate worship
    • Oversee all equipment and resources related to the ministry
    • Oversee paid and volunteer roles within and related to this ministry
    • Oversee and raise up new worship leaders, musicians, and production/sound volunteers
    • Oversee church-wide special events
    • Be the pastoral connection point for individuals within the ministry
    • Be involved in discipling worship leaders and team members
    • Pursue ongoing recruitment of worship team members to meet the growth of the church
    • Maintain a current song database that reflects sound biblical teaching and supports the vision and values of the church, as outlined by the Lead Pastor.
    • Lead weekly worship team practice
    • Facilitate/oversee leadership development opportunities for the ministry members, such as retreats, trainings, meetings, etc.
    • Lead Sunday morning prayer and Wednesday night prayer nights
    • Plan and oversee main auditorium stage set designs, in collaboration with the Communications Director.
    • Build worship teams to serve at outside church events, such as retreat/conferences.
    • Oversees/supports all worship/musical needs within other ministries and ensures they have what is needed.
    • Oversees the creation of new systems and procedures for the ministry and ensures that the needs of the ministry, church, and overall mission are accomplished.
    • Other duties as required.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in biblical/religious studies OR 5 years + of relevant ministry experience
    • Spiritually mature
    • Strong people skills & a team player
    • Excellent organizational, planning, logistical, and multitasking skills
    • Good troubleshooting ability to resolve issues and be adaptable
    • Creative ability to come up with new ideas and be able to implement them
    • Excellent writing, editing, spelling, and grammar skills
    • Strong understanding of church structure and systems
    • Excellent database management skills
    • Great time management skills
    • Understanding of Planning Center, ProPresenter, and other software needed for the ministry


    Reporting structure

    This position reports to the Lead Pastor and supervises the Audio/Production Coordinator role.


    Hours of Work & Salary

    30 hours a week;

    Sundays/ Mondays & Tuesdays (daytime)/ Wednesday’s & Thursdays (afternoons & evenings).

    $52,000 – 63,000 a year

  • Youth & Young Adults Minister

    Job Summary

    The Youth & Young Adults Minister is responsible for the spiritual development, discipleship, and leadership of both RCC’s Youth Ministry and Young Adults Ministry. This role provides vision, oversight, and pastoral leadership for Junior Youth (Middle School), Senior Youth (High School), Emerging Adults (18–25), and Established Adults (26–35).


    Spiritual Leadership

    • Develop and communicate a compelling vision for Youth and Young Adults Ministry.
    • Lead ministries centred on worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, evangelism, and community.
    • Recruit, train, mentor, and disciple volunteer leaders.
    • Provide pastoral care, spiritual guidance, and mentorship.


    Youth Ministry Responsibilities (Grades 6–12)

    • Lead and organize weekly Junior and Senior Youth gatherings.
    • Develop age-appropriate discipleship and leadership opportunities.
    • Partner with parents by providing support, communication, and discipleship resources.
    • Plan and oversee retreats, mission trips, conferences, service projects, and outreach events.


    Young Adults Ministry Responsibilities (Ages 18–35)

    • Lead and develop weekly Young Adult gatherings focused on spiritual growth and community.
    • Create discipleship pathways for Emerging Adults (18–25) and Established Adults (26–35).
    • Facilitate Life Groups, mentorship opportunities, and leadership development initiatives.
    • Plan retreats, conferences, social events, and service opportunities.


    Outreach & Community Engagement

    • Build relationships with schools, families, and community leaders.
    • Build connections with youth and young adults outside of regular programming.
    • Partner with local churches and organizations for outreach opportunities.
    • Represent RCC as a champion for youth, young adults, and families.


    Leadership Development

    • Identify and develop emerging leaders within both ministries.
    • Empower youth and young adults to serve throughout RCC.


    Administrative Oversight

    • Manage ministry calendars, budgets, communications, and event logistics.
    • Ensure all programming follows RCC policies and Plan 2 Protect standards.
    • Provide regular updates to the Associate Pastor.


    Qualifications

    • A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for discipling youth and young adults.
    • 3–5 years of ministry experience; theological education preferred.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Aligned with RCC’s Statement of Faith and sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading.


    Hours of Work

    37.5 hours per week; Sunday & Tuesday-Friday


    Reporting Structure

    Reports directly to the Associate Pastor


    Salary Category

    $52,000.00 – $64,000.00 (dependent on experience and qualifications).
